In order to give all players some structure during the break away from club soccer, we have developed an individual training plan (see below). 

The basic training plan is perfect for those who are practicing at home, in a smaller space, in the backyard, etc. If anyone is interested in building a simple rebound wall/kick wall, please check out this website – https://www.kickwalls.com/plans

Week 1
Session 1:
  • Strength & Agility – 15 minutes (core work, agility ladder, hurdles, etc)
  • Juggling – 15 minutes
  • First touch from the air – 15 minutes (feet, thighs, chest)
  • 1v1 ball mastery – 15 minutes (shoulder drop, scissor, step over)
Session 2:
  • Strength & Agility – 15 minute(core work, agility ladder, hurdlesetc)
  • Juggling – 15 minutes
  • First touch from the air – 15 minutes (feet, thighs, chest)
  • 1v1 ball mastery – 15 minutes (L-turn, V-turn, combine the two)
 
Week 2
Session 1:
  • Strength & Agility – 15 minutes (core work, agility ladder, hurdles, etc)
  • Juggling – 15 minutes
  • First touch from the air – 15 minutes (feet, thighs, chest)
  • 1v1 ball mastery – 15 minutes (pull back, magic turn, Cruyff turn)
Session 2:
  • Strength & Agility – 15 minutes (core work, agility ladder, hurdles, etc)
  • Juggling – 15 minutes
  • First touch from the air – 15 minutes (feet, thighs, chest)
  • 1v1 ball mastery – 15 minutes (roll over, chop, fake pass/shot)
Week 3
Session 1:
  • Strength & Agility – 15 minutes (core work, agility ladder, hurdles, etc)
  • Juggling – 15 minutes
  • First touch from the air – 15 minutes (feet, thighs, chest)
  • 1v1 ball mastery – 15 minutes (scoop turn, outside & inside hook)
Session 2:
  • Strength & Agility – 15 minutes (core work, agility ladder, hurdles, etc)
  • Juggling – 15 minutes
  • First touch from the air – 15 minutes (feet, thighs, chest)
  • 1v1 ball mastery – 15 minutes (Maradona, rainbow, elastico)
